Book One: Fire and Ice A runaway princess and her Brunhalla friend, Tristan—a mystical, shape-shifting stallion—come upon a young prince disguised as a simple warrior from a neighboring kingdom, and the three are forced together by dangerous circumstances into an epic adventure filled with secrets, surprises, and sinister villains. Little do the two young people know that their own fathers have orchestrated their adventure, dubbing it ‘The Great Plan’, in an effort to help each of their children learn first, how to face their weaknesses, and second, how to share their strengths. One thing that all three adventurers already share is a belief in God, the Father and Creator, and their faith sees them through both painful realizations and dark trials, while touching the lives of many along the way. Book Two: The Winglyth King Princess Ceralyn and Prince Navarre discover by chance that Ulan, the son of Ceralyn’s foster-brother, Rupert, has been kidnapped, and is being taken to an evil island kingdom. They ride to the rescue, joined once more by friends, Jhoven and Jennaha, and of course, the Brunhalla stallion, Tristan. Circumstances force the rescuers apart, however, and Ceralyn and Navarre find themselves alone on an island dedicated to the worship of a mortal god-king, and must rescue Ulan from an evil man determined to use the boy’s gift with animals to secure the island throne for himself. To make matters worse, Ulan has been told so many lies and half-truths that he no longer knows what to believe…or who to trust. Book Three: Tracks of the Sand Tiger Ceralyn and Navarre continue to travel toward Jumar in order to reunite Ulan with his father. A brutal shipwreck sends them traveling on foot through thick jungle, across hot desert sands, and into the hands of a Sudanan Prince, who is convinced by his royal advisor—a mystic who dabbles in magics best left untouched—that Ceralyn is the ‘Bride of Prophesy’, and destined to be joined to the Prince forever. Danger seems to await the group of friends at every turn, and through it all, Ceralyn and Navarre must not only deal with the discovery of their true identities, but must also come to grips with their growing feelings for each other. Book Four: Something Worth Dying For In Jumar, Ceralyn hears unpleasant rumors that her own kingdom, Midrange, is in the midst of trouble, stalked by an enemy whose demands can only be met by the appearance of Princess Ceralyndria herself. Ceralyn and Navarre take the shortest possible route home, even though it takes them into the very heart of the Grass Sea…exactly where she didn’t want to go. Together they face new enemies and the young princess and prince come very close to losing their Brunhalla friend, Tristan, forever. An alliance must be formed with an old enemy in order to overcome a new evil, and before they can reach Midrange and discover the danger awaiting them there, Ceralyn and Navarre must each decide whether their love is worth fighting for and whether or not they are strong enough to choose a measure of their own destiny. Book Five: War is a Red Horse, Too Ceralyn’s father is missing and, ready or not, the Princess must quickly take her place on the throne as queen in order to face the invasion of a vast army pushing up through Fluiada, and aimed at the very heart of Midrange. What’s worse, someone—somehow—is controlling reavers, and has brought together hundreds of the creatures, sending them ahead of the army to terrorize and kill everything and everyone in their path. With Navarre by her side, Ceralyn faces her destiny, and prays for a miracle as she bravely leads her people into a war they can’t hope to win. |
